Cue Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth.” Because “paranoia strikes deep” on the set of Joy Reid’s MSNBC show this morning.

Guest Sarah Kendzior, looking ahead to November’s elections, was in full paranoid flight. Among her possible horribles, Kendzior warned:

“The GOP may simply not concede . . . This is a party that is not interested in, in this point, at democracy [sic]. They want a one-party state to protect this President, whose loyalty is not to this country, and I think they will go through any means necessary to try to do that.”

Reid turned to MSNBC legal analyst Paul Butler to ask if the Republican party could “find a way to not concede the election?” Butler, a Georgetown law professor, tried to reassure Reid: “I think it would be difficult. Because we do, at the end of the day, have a system of the rule of law.”

Note: this isn’t the first time Kendzior made wild allegations on Reid’s show. One year ago, we noted Kendzior claiming that “you still have actual Nazis” in the White House.
