Of all the overwrought reactions to “Fire and Fury,” New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg has the early clubhouse lead.

Appearing on this evening’s Hardball, Goldberg, speaking of President Trump, said:

“The existential survival of this country, which I think it’s not an exaggeration to say that that’s what’s at stake.”

Really? Faced with Trump’s tough talk, we’re suddenly seeing North Korea’s willingness to come to the table. There’s been a popular uprising in Iran. And Saudi Arabia is forming a tacit alliance with Israel.

Want to know what truly represents a threat to “the existential survival of this country,” Ms. Goldberg? The open-borders, multicultural policies of Barack Obama and the Dems at large.
